Freedom as a state of mind
"Whilst difficult situations arise throughout life, our interpretation or response to any event remains ours to control. This often brings with it anxiety for fear of making wrong decisions or fear of the unknown, which can often lead to inaction. If we accept that emotional freedom is having the power to shape how we think about our future, we can often more easily realise a values-driven life through more purposeful and considered change or action..."

With specialist training in grief, loss and bereavement, and personal experience of childlessness, divorce, and blended families, my journey into counselling has taken place over several years of studying and providing counselling alongside my former career paths within the private & charity sectors and whilst working and volunteering for the NHS. My experience makes me well-placed to support those with issues such as anxiety, work-place stress, bereavement or life transitions amongst other issues.
I hold a professional diploma in psychotherapeutic counselling and am able to draw on a variety of tools and techniques including hypnotherapy and emotional freedom techniques if this is right for you. I'll aim to help you to safely explore your current challenges and work with you to find new ways of moving forwards that are right for you.
I'm invested in your emotional wellbeing and extend a warm welcome to all new enquirers. So do reach out for an initial conversation to see if I am the right counsellor for you. If for whatever reason I am not able to help, I'll always aim to signpost you to other services.
